Meet the Team
Here at XtremeMGR
we want everyone to feel welcome at our meets, therefore we took
the brave decision to show you all a mugshot of ourselves with our
pride and joy. At least this way, when you come to one of our XtremeMGR
organised events you will know who some of us are!
Its
fair to say that Simon is the brains and the braun behind
XtremeMGR. His passion for all things MG Rover is unstoppable and
he has owned nothing else since passing his test! Over the years
he has accumulated a long contact list of all things MG/Rover and
is always happy to help with problems and share his contacts. Simons
main area of expertise is ICE he is well known on many other forums
for his useful advice.

Although
relatively new to the MG Rover Club Scene, Chris is by
no means new to the brand - indeed his first car was a 1988 Rover
216 SEi! Chris met Simon through the exchange of MG door cards via
ebay and a year later XtremeMGR was formed. Being the web designer
for the club Chris is always interested to hear about new ideas
and site features.

Mikes
love for weird and wonderful builds is second to none –
with a great history of machines all hailing from mikes ‘garage
of doom’. His current project is a track worthy metro, with
very little left of the original car. Mikes history with MG-Rover
cars is unsurpassed with a great history of metro’s/100’s
in particular, but he’s also partial to a bit of retro chic
as his current montego shows. Mikes technical knowledge is rarely
over shadowed.

Next
in the team is Taphouse– a relative newbie to the
world of MG-Rover, but this does not detract from his sheer enthusiasm
for MG-Rovers both old and new. When he's not out polishing boats
to fund his lovely mk1 ZR, he's out polishing his ZR putting us
all to shame with its always perfect appearance. Andy is into anything
based around a motor, with a massive love for motorsport. Living
within spitting distance of Goodwood always helps.......

Last
but by no means least, is Scottimus Prime. Very rarely
will you come accross a person so passionate about a particular
marque. Well you get that in Scott, with an impressive array of
cars he has previously owned, not to mention the two MG's currently
in his household. One one which has won awards at shows for its
quality and condition.
